Welcome!

My name is Laura Artiles and I am currently a Senior iOS Engineer at Disney Streaming. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with degrees in Computer Science and Economics. Growing up with two engineers as parents, my mind was always very driven towards math, science, and technology. Throughout middle school and high school I also began to develop an interest in the business world. Upon arriving to college, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do yet, but I decided to take a programming course. Unsuprisingly, I fell in love with it! My programming assignments were always the ones I wanted to do first when I had a long list of things to do and I was eager to learn more. I declared Computer Science as my major and eventually added Economics to fulfil my lingering interest of the business world. Now, as a developer, I strive to be continuously learning and exploring my personal interests within technology.
